That's the best news I've heard in quite some time. Dan "Shoe" is making a comeback. He was almost the sole reason I read EGM every month, but the other members did grow on me over the years. Can't wait to watch the videos Dan, in fact...I might just get an iPhone because of this. I'm being serious, btw.
You should definitely have your former staff on some of the videos, that would be awesome. Also, Raychul is prettycool as well. But yeah, you have to tell us that the first video will be about?
Wow..didn't see this one coming at all. Very nice indeed. My iPhone will be ready on the 14th. I'll also watch it on the web too, just because Dan is awesome and I read EGM for nearly 12 years. Good job and nice pickup gchd, can't wait to see what Dan and Raychul have in store for us.
Shoe wanted me to come on here and thank everyone for the feedback too. He is having registration issues and can't comment just yet. So he says "Hi and thanks!"
Also, here is a little hint of what we have planned out for the pilot. We received Resident Evil 5 today and you will be hearing our thoughts and feedback on the game. How is the co-op? What do we think of the full game compared to the demo? Plus the good and the bad.
I do not know anyone who is as big of a hardcore survival-horror fan as I am...so I am very excited!!
Wow Shoe, first EGM, then 1up, THEN Sorethumbs and now Cut Scene... I love it all haha. I am glad that you keep busy, but more importantly... you never stray from your love of videogames that so many past game journalists do.
Also, we reached a new milestone today... because if this was the 90's and an EGM'er and a Gamepro'er worked together on a new project, many a shit would hit that proverbial fan. lol love it
WhippinSean: That's our apartment! :) I have this "little" obsession with videogame and horror movie related toys and action figures...so those Pac-Man Ghosts are mine - they evenmove!
Thanks everyone for the positive feedback so far! We are super excited and so far the response has been so great that it makes us even more happy to be a part of this!
Thanks SixtySeven for the compliment! :)
Also, not sure if we are able to talk about our pilot episode just yet...but we will let you guys know more information when we can. Gotta keep the mystery alive! :
This reminds me of my wife and I to no end, where we'll be playing Poker Smash... on XBLA... non-stop... and she'll kick my ass (she's number 4 in the world at Tetris; check some Hong Kong game arcades for top scores of 'QUEENIE'; that's her), and she'll kick my ass, for an hour, then we'll load up Street Fighter 2 HD and I'll kick her ass... then we decide some co-op Gears 2 is the best way to waste the weekend and avoid an argument. Keep this shit up Shoe and 'Eye Candy' girl
Great news guys! Here's my idea and suggestion for the show.
Since you both live in San Fran (I'm assuming here) you should do quick studio tours of all development houses or video game publishers in your area. Walk through and film the entire studio and then show us what it's like. I've always wanted to see inside those places, but yet no one ever does it.
That would be fantastci, at least to me that is :)
Hey everyone! (special shout-out to WhippinSean...who seems to find me wherever I go...)
Thanks for all the support. I hope we can do a good job in your eyes. Be patient with me especially, since I'm not really an on-camera kind of guy (I've done it before, but I'm terrible at it). If I mess things up, just look at Raychul instead. :)
lol well I saw a big topic of this news @ GAF, otherwise I probably would not have found you again till who knows when. I still regularly check out Sorethumbs. Do you have any others going on
Welcome Shoe!!! Are you guys (and girls...sorry Raychul) going to cover
any events? That would be nice too, and give some variety to the
scenery. Not that your apartment backdrop isn't cool, just throwing our
ideas here :) And I think the development studio tours is the bet idea
yet. I can guarantee they'd let you in there to film the place, minus
any secret documents or unannounced projects of course. Can't wait!
If this project grows big enough to where GCHD can get us a cameraman once in a while to help us cover events, then sure...we'd love to. Well, Raychul would love to more, because she's more comfortable in front of the camera than I am. :) But I like interviewing people and such...
I haven't seen too much in the way of vids from GCHD, but starting with you guys is a great start! Hopefully they can start with some actual video reviews and such. What made ya hook up with GCHD, anyway?

I've met the guys a couple of times, and they're pretty cool...and talked to us before about working together. I got Raychul involved since she's better in front of the camera than I am...and we just went from there. It's sort of an experiment...so bear with us! I'm not an on-air kinda guy, either, so the first few shows may be rough
