Great show, but I would like to see more footage of you guys at Nintendo. It's also too bad that Nintendo's office isn't this magical playground...that broke my heart :(

When does this come out? Also, if you guys (Dan and Raych) had to choose between buying this...or just renting it (or borrowing a friends), which would it be? I'm trying to justify the purchase, but I'm having a hard time!

This looks like fun, but it doesn't really appeal to me that much. Might buy it and have it in reserve for when casual gamers visit my house...like my mom, dad, brother, etc.

i played a bit of the 3 point contest and the archary at E3 and i liked it ... dont have a wii but i think i will get a wii when metroid comes out....and Dan... GO BLUE!!!

@Treylan - Ouch...casual gamer :) That was a low blow, but totally the truth!

Isn't it rather sad that it's come to this; Millions of Nintendo fans getting excited about a casual game because there's literally nothing else to get excited about! And before you call me a Sony/Microsoft fanboy, I have all three consoles and support all three equally. 

I just absolutely despise the fact that my Wii sits there collecting dust until it's time to goof off with my friends, or break it out on Thanksgiving because I don't want all the kids in the family to touch my real consoles and break them. Yeah ,I want to play the next Metroid, Mario, and Zelda just like everyone else, but not sure I can give in and purchase titles like this.

P.S. @Dan - what is the PS1 game with the double case in the background directly between you and Raychul? Sorry, have to know :)

@Dreary: The game comes out July 27th and I would say it's a "buy". It's not the kind of game you would rent and play for a few days then be done with it. It's definitely a game you would want in your collection to pull out and play when guests are over or when you just feel like have some silly fun.

@BlueShift:Those are actually our Dreamcast games and I think you are probably talking about the double-case green one which is Seaman (one of my all time favorite games!) Then the only other double-case game on that rack is Shenmue.

Thanks Raychul! That's the one I was talking about. I loved Seaman as well, no joke intended :) It's too bad another version doesn't come out now that technology has caught up a little bit..oh wait, that would be Milo and Project Natal...maybe :)

It's hard to say games like this are must-buys. It's not something we'll spend hours and hours on, yet, we'll want it in our library to break out once in a while, especially for friends -- although Boom Blox will still be first in the party-game lineup. :)

BUT...since it comes with the WiiMotion Plus, I guess that pushes it into "must buy" territory for me.

The Nintendo offices in Redmond WA are more exciting, mainly because of an on-site store that contains all sorts of Nintendo goodies.
